PUTTING NUMBERS IN A CELL
I AM TRYING TO ENTER A NUMBER THAT BEGINS WITH ZERO'S AFTER I ENTER IT THE ZERO'S DISAPPEAR, HOW DO I KEEP THEM IN
Please turn off the CAPS Lock, more than two lines would
be extremely difficult to read. Reading caps is annoying.
Format the column as text, if the leading zero is important to
you then it is an identification not a number. The default
alignment for text is left aligned which is also better for
most identification "numbers".
Credit card numbers are 16 digits, are identification and
can not be entered as numbers, ever, because Excel only

When I put pictures in my publisher file, sometimes I want captions
for the pictures. So I make a tiny textbox that I put under the
picture, and type in a caption into that textbox. The problem is that
I can make the picture have some space to left and right of it so that
text doesn't crowd into the picture, but I can't do that with the
textbox containing the caption. Is there any way to prevent outside
text from crowding the borders of a textbox?
You can move that textbox wherever you need. You don't need to leave space
inside when you can steer clear of the textbox itself.

I have two tables 'tblOrders' and 'tblOrderDetails' linked as ODBC tables
from MS SQL 2000 Server. Both tables have primary keys:
'tblOrders' has 'orderId' primary key and 'tblOrderDetails' has a pair

In Microsoft money 2003. Used to: When I put on my paycheck I would have a
window pop up with seperate catagories, "taxes", "healthcare", ect. there
were four of them. Now when I put them in I just get one "spit catagories"

You need to be more specific in your question. Perhaps Data
Validation, on the Data menu, will do what you want. This will
allow users to enter only values in a range of numbers in a cell.

presentation. How do I make a standard photo go into an oval or other
autoshape? I have done it once but can't recreate it. I have windows XP,
publisher 03 and works suite 04. My photos are usually JPEG.

In Word 2008, I have a few tables that I am trying to set on top of each
In a couple of cases, if I try to move the table down by putting returns
between the tables, the bottom table moves down then jumps back up again.
If you show special characters you can see the returns on the left of the
table in the margin instead of between the tables.
In Draft mode, it shows the separation correctly, but not in Print mode. As
I add more returns, sometimes the tables rows seem to disappear - other
times the table might jump into/over the other table.

in a separate header file (i.e. files with extensions '.h') than placing

I am writing a template for someone and they want to have the dotted line
around each cell. However, when they get hold of the template, what they are
doing is inserting more lines and deleting certain cells and they are losing
the dotted formatting on certain cells that have had the contents deleted.

I have a spreadsheet with 50 tabs. Each tab has a 6 month audit score that

There is a bar graph linked to these cells on each tab. What I am trying to
do is group the tabs together, then delete the MAR score, shift all cells to
the left, then add a SEP score.
The problem is... when I try to do that, the graph changes to only show APR
MAY JUN JUL & AUG. I can't get it to automatically add SEP.
I could do it individually but that would be very time consuming to do it
for 50 ...
