Sharepoint 3.0 Help
I installed Sharepoint 3.0 SP2 on my windows 2003 DC server Standard SP2
running SQL 2005 SP3
During the installation I slected AD and it supposely created an OU
sharepointOU now I get errors when trying to setup sharepoint create
collection site etc

The Active Directory organization unit SharePointOU registered in Windows
SharePoint Services does not exist.

Hello. I am using ConvertReportToPDF in an application and would like these
PDF files to be printed's protected editing and copying. Is there any way to
do this? Thank you.

if this is the www.labens.com Convert to PDF, you will probably need to look
at the Class Modules - clsCommonDialog. he explains the need to have it
protected with password etc. I maybe wrong, but based on the documentation
he provides it makes sense.

Another relatively simple one I'm sure, but how would I get the sum of two
columns, where each cell changes and I need the product of each?
1 250 (250)
4 300 (1200)
3 288 (864)
7 133 (931)
2 621 (1242)
And then at the bottom of column B I need the sum of the products of the two
I thought something like =SUM((A1*B1):(A5*B5)) would work but to no avail.

Moving money 2005 file to new Vista system- decided good time to try Money
2007, right? So I backup 2005 .mny file on separate system, online and on
flash. download 2007 and heed the warning that the file created cannot be
opened in an older version (not much of a "trial" eh?). Honestly, can't tell
that I'm even using a different program. Not inclined to pay $30 for
something I can't even discern as new except for the "2007" in the title bar,
I uninstall, and reinstall my 2005 onto the system. Get the old unaltered
back up file and restore it.

Can anyone tell me if there is any way to access a control on a dialog by
the string equivalent of the control id ?
ie. At the moment, what I have to do something like

Does anyone know how to keep the "this transaction exceeds the customer's
credit limit" message box from popping up when entering a sales order? The
only option that I've found was to give the customers unlimited credit, and
we obviously don't want to do that.
Is there a reason you don't want to be notified of this? I mean, if you
never get informed doesn't the customer essentially have unlimited credit?

I'm a volunteer with a sports club that hires many students on a part-time
basis. I'm really struggling with some SQL used in their payroll
calculations. Here's the situation, simplified to remove extraneous info:
a) In 2010, Employees are paid every 2 weeks starting on January 12.
b) tblEmpl has fields EmplID (pk), and DateOfBirth.
c) We are obliged to adjust the way employees are paid on the FIRST PAYDATE
of the month FOLLOWING the month in which the Employee turns 18 years old.

Hello, I am working in .Net C# and have an xml file similar to the one
below. I have tried using a DataSet but get the error "The same table
(Gid) cannot be the child table in two nested relations". The file
has a number of parent nodes at the "<ShipmentHeader>" level, each of
which have a number of child nodes. I will not know ahead of time
which of these parent/child nodes will occur. I have also looked at
the XmlTextReader, but it looks like I would have to evaluate
NodeTypes, ReadInnerXml, etc. Is there an easier way?

I just installed Microsoft Office XP Professionaql with
no problem. However, whenever I try to perform any task
such as opening contacts area in order to create an
entry, I receive a dialog box with Microsoft Outlook and
a yellow exclamation point. Also, included in the dialog
box are the words could not open the item, try again.
Other information that might be important is that I use a
pst file. The error message also occurs when I try to
open the Contact folder from the folder list as well as
when I try to perform any function. It was a clean

I have gotten to this point with the great input from others here, and
I'm looking to tweek this a little more.
Below is a copy of one of my macros. I want it to copy and paste A5:V5
into any selected cell.
When I click on the macro button it copies the row and allows me to
right click and paste it in any selected cell, but it leaves the view on the
source row of the macro.

I am working of a volunteer reporting form for a charity. They have to
submit a monthly summary report to the government as required by their grant
funding requirements. We submit a month in arrears. For example, we submit
January’s activity report at the beginning of March. By the time we run the
report, all of the activity has been recorded.

I have a question about combo boxes. I have a form based off of a query to
return or show all records with certian criteria in the form selected or
where nothing has been selected in the combo box. When I select criteria in
the combo box and then switch it back to blank the combo box appears to be
retaining the original value I selected and therefore not showing up on the
form. How do I fix this issue?

Within a macro I am trying to add 2 formulas to the bottom row of my
worksheet (The column length will be changing each time). The code is below
and has allowed me to add static data. Now I need to do a count or countif

I have a mojor problem, a 14 Mb workbook with about 10 sheets inside, with
various lookups, validation, etc but NO MACROS. When I try and delete or
insert a column, Excel opens a copy of the workbook and another Excel sheet

In MY CRM deployment we removed IIS from the server by mistake. We have
added the IIS again. There was no bakcup of IIS. We lost crm web sites and

We are having MAJOR speed problems with our CRM.
With only 30 people using it and having the Web interface
on 1 server (duel 3.2 XEON with 4GB RAM) and the SQL
interface on another, it makes no sense that our CRM-
based interface calls are DOG slow. I mean, executing
an .Update on a contact can take 5-30 seconds.
For our SRs, it can take a good 45 seconds to load a
screen of 300 activities. It's like "uhhh..."
Compound this with code that does multiple manipulations
and we're in a world of hurt.
