XLS file assocation issue

When I goto Associate a file type for a specific extension, it has it
associated to Wordpad when it should be Excel. However, I am not able to
change it as the "Always Use the selected program to open" is grayed out and
I can't get it be selectable. How do I do it so I can associate the file type
to always for Excel.

Please advise.

I wouldn't work with the associations to start.

Instead, I'd let excel try to do it for me.

Close Excel and
Windows Start Button|Run
excel /unregserver
then
Windows Start Button|Run
excel /regserver

The /unregserver & /regserver stuff resets some of the windows registry to
excel's factory defaults.

Maybe it'll work ok for you.

It also occurs if I attempt to copy and paste the message information from the e-mail that was returned with the error into a new message and send. I can send a new message just fine. I can send a message with large file attachments just fine. I can reply to messages without problems. My only problem right now is with forwarding. Any ideas? Thanks. What is the exact error that...

JDBC Driver issue with SQL Server 2008
Hi, I just migrated to SQLServer 2008 Express from the 2005 version. I have a Java application that uses SQL JDBC Driver (sqljdbc4.jar - latest version) to connect to DB. I had to upgrade to the latest driver as the previous version sqljdbc.jar did not work with SQL 2008. Now my application works, but in one instance it fails. Debugging i found the issue to be when accessing this particular stored procedure that has both Update and Select queries. In this case the error says 'statement didnt return a resultset' when executing this code 'preStmt.executeQuery();' ...

The common message formats between Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express is Plain Text and/or HTML. Therefore I would double check with the sender to verify that they sent the message in Pla...

Do installation files expand into more than one file?
Are there any files in an XP installation CD or any of the SP's that during installation expand to be more than one file? If the answer is no, I guess I'm thinking of .exe files that install programs, and in doing so expand the single .exe file into lots of files that get saved in various folders. Does anything like that happen when installing Windows or a Service Pack? Perhaps when installing a .CA_ files or a .CH_ file? Issues with GLAccounts
1) It would be great if GP did not allow deletion of an account if there was a budget amount attached to it. We are in the process of changing our Chart of Accounts and as a result a very large number of accounts have been made inactive.
