Task Category does not appear to sync between CRM 3.0 and Outlook
I've been trying to find a way to sync the category field on a CRM task with
the outlook task categories. Is this possible? Have I missed something?
Whatever category I set for a task in Outlook it is blank in CRM. The same
is true the other direction. The tasks themselves seem to sync but the
Category fields are unaffected.
Any help would be appreciated.
This field is not synchronized and the mapping is not customizable. Maybe
you could store the data in the subject field.

If I right-click>paste-special>paste as text, the data pastes as desired,
but using edit>paste values, I'm getting both values & formatting.

David, if u want to paste the value without the original formatting, then
there's a way around it.
Double-click on the cell u want to copy and select its value. The
double-click on the cell u want to paste and do paste.

However, many accountants want to remover the '-' and replace wit

Hi all. Recently i received an email that was send to me and my colleague.
The attachment is of xls but when i received it, it was in the form of dat.

Are you using Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express? These two are very
different programs where one can handle Rich Text messages (Microsoft
Outlook) while the other cannot. The common message formats between

How do I change the appearance (shape) of a cell. I want to display a number (created by a formula) over another number (manually entered). My preference would be for the outcome to look like a cell with a diagonal line so that one number is over another,similar to this 22/44. These are temp files created when Excel saves a workbook. Normally they are deleted
when the save is complete. This might fall under the funny behaviors that occur when
working with files on a network.

I have approximately 1300 .csv files that I need to convert to .xls
files so I can extract data from a master spreadsheet. Excel
apparently requires a .csv file be open to extract the data.
I could open each one individually and do a save as, but that would be
rather tedious. Is there a way to programmatically do this. The .csv
files are in the following format:
xx is 01-29 (notice the leading 0)

zz is 01-110 (notice the leading 0 on 1 digit numbers and that the

I'm running windows xp and word 2002. A week or so ago I could select a
portion of a map in streets and trips 2010 and copy it, then paste it in a
word document. It appeared fine and I could edit it. Now every time I try it
all I get is a box with a square, triangle, and circle in it. I can see the
picture on the clipboard. Pasting into paint works fine. I don't know what
changed. I've tried repairing word, but it doesn't help.

In File - Page Setup select tab Sheet look for Section Print and "Comments:"
select "As displayed on Sheet" from the drop down box. This will print

bit dismayed about the new graphic layout. It's indeed very artsy but at the
