Hello, I really need help! Can anyone help.
How do I auto fill data in a worksheet by using the data from another
worksheet within the same workbook.
I have columns in each work sheet that are identical, so I just want to have
the data autofilled from one worksheet to the other without having to retype
each piece of data. I know that you can do it by cell by cell by selecting
the cell then pressing "=", followed by the cell you want to correspond too.
How do I do it by column?
Select the column from the first cell down, then type =, followed by

I have several Excel tables nicely formatted with updated data coming
from a DB and I want to make some slides on the fly. I just found a
shareware Excel add-on, XPPort that makes this kind of job.

generation of a nicely formatted PowerPoint presentation?

We just purchased several Xerox 470 Copiers, they are
networked and contain hard drives for ripping the print
jobs. A user reported a problem, when he prints his
multiple page spreadsheets to this device (which prints 65
ppm) he is having to wait excessive periods of time for
the jobs to complete. As a test I printed 20 copies of a 1
page spreadsheet, in the print queue they appear as 20
separate jobs (whereas with word they appear as one
document with 20 pages), initially the first 11 pages
print out right away, but the last nine take between 3-5
minutes to print. I am curious why E...TEXT = text
I have some data in an Excel table which uses case sensitive codes. Does
anyone know of a way to perform case sensitive VLookups.
A1 contains "TEXT", A2 contains "One".
B1 contains "text", B2 contains "Two"
If I enter "text" in cell A4 and the following VLookup in B4:
I get the answer "One", but I would like to see "Two".
I have found a work around by converting a number of characters to their
ASCII codes, but this is very messy.

The file size as far as kb. My entire Program is 1,203 Kb.
When I ran it I got a "compile Error out of memory", so I exported my User
Form. Then I looked at the file size of just the User Form in a blank
34 KB = .frm
219 KB = frx
My user Form is a Multi Page with 4 Pages on it. There are alot of text
boxes and labels on the 4 sheets. Is there a limit to the number of text

I have some VLOOKUPs which sometimes return 50 or 60 characters (they're in
merged cells). I want the text to wrap, and the cell to enlarge to fit the
text - Just like it does whan you type it in, but somehow, because it is
being returned from a formula it just displays the bottom line of the
wrapped text, and doesn't resize the row.
Anyone know how I cam make it fit?

If you are trying to calculate the height of a multiline string user
DrawText with the DT_CALCRECT flag.

What I need is to open 2 instances so I can have each in its own display

i want to be able to filter a large amount of data to a single row
that i can then use in other areas.
data consists of about 85 columns and 15000 rows of data, much of
which is very similar.
1st filter would have about 15 unique names, each of which then limits
the rows to several hundred
2nd filter will then limit the range to about 100 rows
3rd filter approx 20 rows
4th filter 2 rows
5th filter exact range required.
Autofilter is the perfect option but, it does not allow me to define

It used to be possible to enter a formula within a pivot table so it would
update if the pivot table was changed. E.g. one column divided by another and
the formula would be avaiable even for extra lines if another variable was
used. Is this still avaiable in new excel, and if so, where?

Thanks....Text Boxes on Charts not showing up
Has anyone experienced this? I've got a chart in a
spreadsheet and I add text boxes to the graph section.
They appear on the page yet when I click off the page,
the text box disappears. If I go to print preview, the
text boxes are there so why can't I see them on the
screen? I've tried the bring forward command but that
didn't work. This is also sporadic as some of my text
boxes stay in place why others seem to disappear.
If the chart is selected when you draw the text box, the text box
becomes part of the chart. If not, the text box just floats along in the
dr...avoid losing text when text submission timed out?
Often I have to log in to some web site to enter a few paragraphs of text
(e.g. web email submission, user forum, product reviews, etc). Sometimes it
takes me a while to compose the text, and by the time I click submit, I get
a response saying the session has timed out, and the text that took me a
long time to compose is gone.
Is there a way to retrieve this text? Clicking the back button doesn't work.

I type the link (as text) from a different spreadsheet in a cell in the
current spreadsheet and use this method to call a value in a cell.
