Password Protect Outlook #2
I work in an offcie environment and sometimes have to
leave my PC unattended for just a few minutes.
Unfortunately some confidential emails have been read by
my staff and I need a way of safeguarding them other than
turning off the PC, is there any way I can password
protect access into my Outlook 2000, so all I do is close
Outlook. (Sorry still operating under W95)
You can set a password on a Personal Folders File. If the folder list isn't
visible in Outlook, click View | Folder List. Right-click the root folder
(usually "Personal Folders" or "Outlook T...protecting outlined data
I want to be able to use the expand/collapse function in outlines when the worksheet is protected.
Copy this macro in a normal module
It will run automatic when you open the workbook
You can also use the workbook open event

I set up my concordance file in two columns as directed. My Word 2003
document is 244 pages (8.5 x 11 pages) long and some postings indicated that
this might be too long so I broke it in half and tried that also. The
message says that no entries were marked. That's the problem: no entries
were marked even though all the words are in there. The concordance file is
fairly long: 98 KB. Is that a problem? The data drive is not the same as
the drive on which the Word program resides, is that a problem?

I can't get my archive feature to work in my Outlook in
Office XP. I have checked all the settings and even
tried archiving a single file. It appears to start
archiving but nothing actually happens. I can't find
anything on the Microsoft help pages about this. Has
anyone else run into this?

I just got Money 2004 Deluxe, I am trying to import my
data from Quicken and the program says there is a password
for my quicken account that is required, but I never had a
password. No way to get past this. Any ideas?
If your data file is Q04, Money04 can only deal with Q03 or older.
Otherwise, who knows?

When I am addressing the e-mail it fills in the rest of the individuals name
& e-mail account automatically from the contact book. However, I must hit the
tab key for it to complete rather than the enter key. If I want to add a
second e-mail address I must then go back to the "To" and start again. Should
the enter key allow the rest of the entry without going to the next line?
What happens when you hit the enter key? (It should insert the selected
address and move the cursor to the end of the address)

I'm trying to get a list of files in a certain directory, and the "include"
flag doesn't seem to work.
Here's a simple example:
Target folder: C:\TestFolder
When I use the cmdlet
get-childitem -exclude *.txt
I get what I should (i.e., only File3.doc), but when I use the cmdlet
get-childitem -include *.txt
I get nothing.
Any idea why this is happening?

Outlook 2007 shows up in the list of locations to index. Also, in Outlook
2007, Options, Search I have selected the two pst files I want to search.

When I am trying to shift from "EN" language to "FA" language in text
service and input language, usually I do this by short cut keys (right

Hello...I am running Outlook XP on Windows XP. A while back, I
upgraded to Office 2K3 then later decided to move back to Office XP.
Since doing so, my Outlook message rules have ceased to function. They
are still listed, but Outlook ignores them like they don't exist. I

I have a very short set of Macro's one of my users has recorded. All of them
worked at first but now one of them will not function via the shortcut key.
It will function if you select and run it by using alt-f8, clicking on it
then run. Out of curiosity I reinstalled office, same problem. Then I even
gave him a new PC to play with. He recorded the macros and they ran fine for
many days then the same problem recurred.
Does the macro open another workbook?

We're running Exchange Server 2003 SP1 on Windows Server 2003. A few users
have set their Out of Office, but it does not work for all these users.
When emailing two users from an external account, one responds, the other
does not. The messages arrive in both recipients' mailboxes, but I only
receive one OOO reply to the external account.
The Message Tracking Centre shows just the one OOO being sent.
Any ideas as to why only some mailboxes can send Out of Office? The same
