Outlook / Office 07 changing the fonts?
I've just upgraded from Office 2003 to the Office 2007 public beta, and
what's bothering me most at the moment is the ugly new application font,
"Segoe UI". To my eyes it is truly ugly. So I set about changing it where I
could in Outlook back to Tahoma. I've also switched off Cleartype!
So far I've only managed to get rid of Segoe in the top mail grid and main
body of the mail messages and the calendar navigator.
Is there any way to change any more of the interface back to Tahoma or am I
stuck with half and half?

I have two users sharing a contacts list on our exchange
server. One user sees the contacts filed as First Name,
Last Name while the other one sees them as Company, First
Name, Last Name. I wish to force both users to view the
contacts list in the same manner. I'm assuming it's a
setting on their computers as the contact list is stored
in a public folder on the Exchange server. Both users are
running Outlook 2002 and Windows XP Pro.

I've entered the following SQL Query into the Query Tab.
SELECT * FROM tblVehicles WHERE fldVehicleTag = ABC123;
When I double click the Query to execute:
Instead of returning the recordset Access prompts me for
a Parameter. When I enter the tag # --> ABC123
it returns the correct record.
Why am I being prompted for a Parameter and how do I stop it?

I have a Workbook with the following macro. I want to let the user "Save
As" and rename the workbook and not have the macro take place when the
newly named workbook gets re-opened. Anyone have any ideas?

This would require changing the "File As" field on every contact.
You'd have to use code to do that.

I have an OU configured which contains some Computer accounts and a couple
of user accounts. To one of the accounts I've delegated permissions to add
and delete "computer" objects in that OU.
When I'm logged into one of the computers in the OU and I try to rename the
Computer, I'm prompted for credentials, even though I'm already logged on
using the delegated account. I enter the username/password and all is good
but I'd like not to be required to enter the user/pass. Is the...Synchronisation hangs during save of synchronisation log.
We're using Exchange Server 2000 with an Outlook 2002
client. When we synchronise the offline folders outlook
hangs after it tries to save the synchronisation log (at
50%). Can somebody help please?

I have an Excel-file with about 2MB which contains a lot of
formattings and named cells. If I now change my Default Printer in the
Control Panel while this file is open then Excel needs a few seconds
to overtake this new setting. If I then take a look at my open file
then I suddenly can see the pagebreaks which were not there before.
After that my program tries to hide/unhide columns. But this action
now takes much more time than before changing the Default Printer -
before it needed about 0,1s and now about 4,0s.

outlook 2007 froze when i closed it after i made a number of changes to my
contacts. when i rebooted and opened outlook, the task view in my to-do bar
had changed from the "to-do list" to the "next 7 days" view (which i had
customized earlier in the day). i cannot find any way to change the task
view that appears in the to-do bar back to the to-do list. i have seen one
or 2 posts on other forums where users have reported the same problem, but no

do a lot of work with them and it is starting to get annoying. I don't want
a macro in the file, because then others will get confused when it displays
the message to enable/disable them.
Well you could put the macro in the Personal Macro Workbook and then it
would be available for you but not for the other users.

Have two different domains. exchange is in one domain and the users that can
not change their password is in a different domain.
The way the users try to change their password is via outlook.
Then that get an error about password didnt change,

newspaper and have used "The Works" template in Advertisements. I used
custom size and changed it to 3"x3" to fit the publications 3"x3" ad layout
size spec. When I print the ad the printed image is only 2"x2". What am I
doing wrong and how do I get the printed image upsized to 3"x3"? Thanks!

It seems that there is an issue since I am saving my CRM credentials on my
XP machine (sp2).
I created a link on the desktop but most of the time I cannot access the
server and have a IE page saying that IE cannot display this page.
Now I have removed the password reminder from windows it seems to be fine (I
log from a different domain than the one CRM is installed on).

Actually, what I would really like to do on this Windows 2000 machine

2003 CD for this purpose), but the machine refuses to install it.

I am struggling to save a 2007 Access database as a 2003 database. What is
confusing is that you have to be in it otherwise the option is greyed out,
but when it shows the name of the database with the .mdb extension and I
click on Save it gives a message with words to the effect of saying that I am
in the database and the file cannot be saved when I am in it. Somewhere in
the process it said that the file had to be closed and did I want that and I
accepted that but nothing was closed in the process.
