Printing hidden rows or columns
Is it possible to print hidden columns? My users have a column they do not want to see on the screen but want it to print out for hand writing in the column as there are not computers, laptops, or PDAs available at this time. Thanks for your time.

The only way I know to do this is to have a macro run when you want to print. The macro would unhide the column, print the range, hide the column again. All this can be done in the background so the user would never see that column. Post back if you want to pursue this. Check out View>Custom Views. One custom view can be the printout view. I have a spreadsheet listing columns of information for many different people. If more than one row exists for the same person, I'd like to insert 2 rows after the row so that the group is separated from the next group. I'm trying to format a spreadsheet so that a row has a lower border that looks like the "accountant single" underline - something like this: ___________ __________ _________ ________ instead of a continuous line like this: ________________________________________ Is it possible to do this as a border? Print Dynamic Range
I have a basic excel template used for ordering parts. It runs from A1:N250 and I can print easily repeating rows 1:11 on each page (contains job details) . TCP/IP printing
Hello, I have a networking question. I have a print device with a static IP address on one network. A computer on another network can connect to the printer (NBT is enabled and so is LPR) and the drivers are installed but cannot print. I know this is correct behavior but want to know in detail why it seems to half work. I am guessing it has to do with port 138,139 and 515 but not positive. Printing booklet
I am producing a 50 to 60 page booklet using Pubisher 2003. The page format will be using 8.5 x 11 paper folded in half. I need to print both sides of the paper. How do I print the booklet so that I print half the project on one side of the paper and the other half on the back. Will publisher keep track of the pages so that for example; that page 2 and page 50 print on the same side/sheet of paper so when all pages are printed, folded and bound the book reads correctly. I cannot seem to be able to change the background colors of columns, rows and cells in Excel. I had no problem when I was using Office 97. How can I do this with Office 2003? I just want the page that I designed to print on one page! I can't change the print setting "tiled" and as it is, it's printing on four pages all broken up. It is possible that you have created your document on a paper size that is not supported by your printer. Hi Everyone, The CHtmlView is giving me alot of head aches. Here is what I am doing. I am opening an XML file (being formatted using XLST) in a hidden CHtmlView and printing it. Here is how the process goes: 1. I create the XML file on the fly. 2. load the XML file in to CHtmlView. 3. Problems with printing
Dear all I have an application, which has been working without problems for the last 7 years. The application has some printing capabilities. Now, we have just gotten a new printer (HP Laserjet CM4370), and when I try to print, my application crashes. The app crashes in the print setup dialog even before I press OK. If I select any other printer as default printer, the app doesn't crash. Then I can show the print setup dialog without problems. Hello, I have a large worksheet with in excess of 100 rows and 100 columns. In each cell of column C, I have a constant that I need to use as part of the formula applicable to columns D, E, etc. For example; =SUM(C7*D7). Hi, I have a spreadsheet which contains employee information including job skills. converting column of text to text box for repetitive records
Hi, I have a spreadsheet which contains employee information including job skills. My problem is that each skill (cook,candlemaker, etc.)creates a new row for that employee, duplicating fields that don't change, name, ss#,etc with the only new info in the row being the skill Like this: Jane doe,123456789,555-555-5555,cook Jane doe,123456789,555-555-5555,candlemaker What I want is 1 row for each employee with the last column containing all the skills in a text box or separated by commas. Or you can create a mail merge via MS word and access a CRM Table or View using ODBC. Count duplicates where the next column contains specific text
I need to write a formula which counts the number of unique entries i columnA where the corresponding entries in columnB contain a specifi string of text (ie *text*).
