Histogram data analysis tool
In attempting to use the Data Analysis Tool histogram generator of Excel
2003, I can't get
it to work right (i.e., the way I want it to work).
I suspect that I have some sort of DATE HHMMSS problem, and one confusing
thing is that the value
displayed on the fx input bar is not the same format as the cell I'm trying
For instance when the cell contains 9/2/2005 1:00 the fx bar displays
9/2/2005 1:00:00 AM.
So when I enter a series of times on 9/2/2005, 30 mins apart in the bin
range all of the data
is counted as being in the first 30 mins, rather than distributed over the...when i open an attachment it just shows a box i cannot open
Attachment, whether docs or pictures won't open. I can preview them inside
the window pane, but then have to copy to word doc to print. Should be able
to open attachment and then print just from there. Please help. It's like
the Microsoft Picture manager is working strangely.

I need excel to get data from an access database similar to vlookup function
from an excel table.
In order to have only specific records copied to your Excel file, the query
needs to include selection criteria (and sort order if necessary). Otherwise,
all records get copied and you then need to create lookup formulas or use
filters to restrict the set of record.
If you are not familiar with Access queries, have someone who is create one
for you as a stored query object in the database file. You can then use the

I have been successful in creating and sending an email through Lotus
Notes. However, I need to be able to format the body so that the
message is more presentable. Currently, I filter a spreadsheet based
on two named ranges and send an email to the SOX audit team member and
copy the SOX control owner. I copy the values from selected columns
on the visible rows and separate those values by tabs.
However, the presentation is bad as the data is variable in length and
therefore the alignment is not correct. I would like to learn how to

"above the chart" does not position the title above the chart, it leaves
exactly where "centered overlay title" put it.

An option would be to use worksheet cells to add your title rather than using
the chart itself. Using worksheet cells positioned directly over the top of
your chart would allow you to control the title location as well as expand
the area available for the plot.

I have MS Excel 2003 installed on my computer. When I open a new workbook and
click on any cell, the pointer goes to a white cross or plus symbol. Then I
am unable to do anything. I can move the mouse anywhere on the sheet and it
highlights the cells that the pointer has gone over as if I am selecting a
range/group of cells such as you would if you were going to delete them or
clear contents. I try to right click and nothing happens. I move the pointer
over the tool bar, it does nothing. I hit <ESC> and still nothing. The only

My Access 2002's export interface (ISAM) seems to be associated with earlier
versions of Excel and limits the numbers of rows that can be exported to
16,000. How do I fix it so that I can export more rows?
Among the less technical ideas, you might first confirm that all current
updates and Export filters have been installed. AFAIK, Access '02 should be
able to export more than 16,000 records if the appropriate filters are
available... unless you mean that an older Excel format must be used.
You might also consider exporting as a text file & then importing that to
Excel as ...POP
Hello all, we have an issue where a PO was created with 4 line items and line
item number 1 was not adding into the total on the report not the form which
we did not know at the time.. then we had to edit line line 2 which at that
time they noticed that the report was short still the line item #1 but the PO
entry form showed the correct amount... I look into the tables and all seemed
to be correct so it's just the report itself that is showing the incorrect
amount.... any help would be great

Have some Blackberrys that were using BB Internet Email connection. Worked
fine with Exch. 2003. Now we upgraded to Exch. 2007 and Blackbery Internet
Connection (via T-Mobile) gives us "Cannot connect to server".
I think this is related to the old method of accessing via web: i.e.

I am trying to open a four-month old money file, which was on my backup
disk. It is a *.mny file, not a backup file. It was created using the same
version of Money (2005) which I still use.
When I start MS MONEY and try open my old data file, it tells my that it

file was created in this version of MS Money). Then when I try and carry out

I have a pivot table with data from cell B9 to cell S33. I want to add a few
lines at the bottom (not as part of the pivot table), which subtract the
figures in some of the rows to give a net total.
I have just moved from XL2000 to XL2003, and this has caused a problem.
Previously if say I wanted to subtract the figure in row 21, I could simply
enter "-B21" in cell B38 and copy the formula across as far as column S. Now
I can't do this because XL automatically uses the GETPIVOTDATA function,
which does not adjust relatively as I copy it across.

I am using Exchange server 200 and Outlook 2003 mail client. I have started
to experience with a single machine where all of a sudden reading emails
with attachments of any size, even 6k, slows greatly.
Just selecting the email item in the list takes at least 30 seconds before
the lower pane shows the body of the selected item. No other client has the
same problem even while this machine does. The problem seems to disappear at
some point and then returns.
The machine was connected to a 10Mbps switch so I changed to a 100Mbps
switch and Event logs reveal nothing.
