Macro "stop recording" button
While I was recording a series of macros, I must have inadvertently chosen to make the "stop recording" button disappear from view. I could obviously stop the recordings from Tools>Macros, but it would save me a couple of clicks if I had the button back. I looked at all the obvious Option screens, without success. Any suggestions? Answer from Tom Ogilvy on this problem Start recording a macro, then right click on a blank area of a toolbar and select the stop recording toolbar. How do I create an excel shortcut key? For instance, I want to create a shortcut key for Moving or Copying a worksheet. I added it to the quick access toolboar, but cannot figure out to create a shortcut key for that command. Thank you for your help. Not sure why you need a shortcut key, when a button is already handy, but here are the instructions from the Excel help file. Outlook and XP Keyboard Access
I just had Windows XP installed on my machine and I am having problems with keyboard access in Outlook 2002. I do not use a mouse and I have my inbox set up with the preview pane. Prior to XP I could get to my inbox with CTRL+Shift+i and then tab around the panes (mail list, preview pane and folders). With XP I can not get a selection in any pane without turning off the preview pane and then turning it on again. Which I then have to repeat every time I use the shortcut to get back to the inbox. This is making me very frustrated. Does anyone have a solution? Thanks in advance! It m...

macro idea..
ok, i want to tidy up the way we discount items that we sell. i retail plants, and when they are not looking their best i might take money off, e.g 2 pounds off a plant at 5.99. What we had been doing is creating another product and calling it **reduced plant 3.99** and then sticking that label over the original one. For obvious reasons that is not a good idea, stock control, lack of knowing what plant has sold etc. what i want to do is... Make labels which say 2.00 off this plant, and when the till operater sees the label they know to discount the item by 2.00. Is it possible for ...
