I have 2 columns in a file -
1. Project numbers
2. Plan id
If there is no project no. then I want to take the plan id
and assign it to the project no. I have done this with
IF(C12="",A12&1) - The last number "1" - I want to
increment it for all the lines for a particular group that
do not have project nos.
So for Group 1 that has 10 items in Plan and of them 6
have Project ids - I would like to have the Planids but
with 1 at the end and then 2 at the end and so forth till
4 at end. SBUBBD1, SBUBBD2, SBUBBD3, SBUBBD4

I have a series of 25 items which people have scored 1=best, 10=worst etc.
I want to find the most popular item, and have entered the following formula
The idea being that if there is no vote, then the score should be 0, but if
there is a vote then the score should 25-(the vote)
So if someone has voted an item 1, which is the top vote, then it should get
a score of 24, 2 gets a score of 23, 3 gets a score of 22 etc, but items
with no vote still get a score of 0.
The problem is when I enter this formula I get #VALUE! because it doesn't

Go to Window|Unhide & unhide Personal.xls

even if the answer is "no" somebody will answer. My question is, is there
any way to see who created or is the owner of a particular meeting in a
Public Folder/Shared Calendar?
if you change the view on the calendar to "by category", and make sure the
"from" field is there, you should be able to tell who made an entry...

Is there a way to use Excel as a front end to Access? I mean via a dynamic
link similar to a linked table in Access rather than a simple import. I want
to be able to have multiple users in multiple Excel workbooks change data in
a worksheet and have the data updated in a single Access table.
I know there are ways to use Excel as a front end to generate reports and
even to modify, add, delete data from an Access table. But I don't think
there's a dynamic way of doing the update. I believe any updating would

I am using the Paste Special>Word Document to embed my word 2000 document
onto my Excel 2000 spreadsheet. The word document will be used for
descriptions of exceptions to the specifications in my bids. Our sales
assistant will copy the text from my embedded word document and past it into

I have one computer that automatically searches the web for clipart that
matches the search criteria. I have two others that do not, and I would like
them too. This is fairly important as a lot is done in Publisher. Does

Easily accomplished. Enter a formula in the desired cells on your proposal
that reads like this:
Do this for each field and make sure to include the full path name to your
address book xls file.

I created the macro button on the toolbar. created the macro then assigned it

countless times with no problems but now something is different. It created

I try to convert some decimal number to hex number in specific way.
430.00000 -> 39c0
430.01250 -> 39c1
430.02500 -> 39c2
For that purpose I fill column A starting with 430.00000 to 470.00000, step
0.0125. There is onlu 45 excact number !!!! Row 45 has value 430.5375 and
row 46 - 430.549999999999.
Converted, value of 430.00000 has hex value 39c0, 430.5375 = 39eb and next
value 430.549999999999 - has the same value - 39eb
