I want to connect my Sharp Aquos flat screen TV to my computer, and see my desktop on both the TV and computer monitor.
Windows Vista Home Premium.
HP Pavilion a1610n computer.
Galaxy GeForce 8400 GS graphics card, outputs: 1-VGA, 1-DVI, and 1-SVGA. There is no HDMI port on the card.
I connected a VGA cable between the motherboard "on-board" VGA port and the TV, figuring that I could use that output to work with the TV. The computer monitor is plugged into the GeForce graphics card.

When we create a new name using insert and define name then if the formula
is long it becomes difficult to view the whole formula. Also one is not able
to use navigation buttons left,right here as if we do that then the formula
gets modified. is there any way to see the whole formula. Like for creating
ever expanding validation list using Debra's technique one uses offset etc
but one is not able to view the whole big formula.

I have a large spreadsheet with multiple worksheets in it.
When one specific worksheet is selected (it does the calculations used on
the other pages) I would like a pop-up text box to appear warning the user
not to print it.
Is there a relatively easy way to do this given that I can't write VB
(though I can follow it in the VB editor)? I have been able to create a
pop-up that appears on every page by putting an Auto_Open Msgbox in the
ThisWorkbook module, but can't figure out how to get it to work on only one
worksheet - is this a syntax probem or can't it be done?.

I am working on a strange issue with name suggestion in Outlook 2k3 version.
For some users when I type the alias for the first time it resolved the name.
The next time I try to type few characters for the same user. it suggests me
with the complete name but this time in the brackets <> the alias would be
some starnge name with some numbers. This strange alias number does not
existing in our organization nor the number that appears along with it
appears in the User AD properties.

I need help with a form please.
My form has two controls, the first being a combo box. This box should
select the company name from a lookup table. The lookup table has only two
companies in it, however, they each are repeated several time. Company 1 has
about 10 rows, company 2 has 3 rows. I used the query builder and came up
with the statement:
"SELECT DISTINCT Lktbl_Role_Master.CompanyName
When I run the statement directly from query view, it executes perfectly and
returns exactly two rows (one for each company, in a datasheet view) ho...does anyone here actually use names?

I am a complete Visio newbie, and cannot find the answer I need in books or
I am trying to create ER diagrams from scratch, and not connected to real
tables, using VEA. I have added tables ('Entities') to the form, connected
them with a Relationship connector, and, in the Database Properties window
I've assigned the end points to a Primary Key on the left and a Foreign Key
on the right. But the model shows the connector as running between the top
colums on both sides, whereas I want the keys to be in that upper box and
provide the connector's end points. Wh...making frames in a spread sheet?
Does any one know how to make a spreadsheet in to frames? i tried
freeze pane but what i really want is to separate the worksheet into
frames like a webpage, so if i scroll down the right side, the left
side and the top side won't mvoe...
I think about the closest you can get is to have two vertically positioned
windows side by each.
The active window will scroll but inactive will remain stationary.
Excel has no "frames" feature like a webpage.

Maybe your cell is preformatted as Text.
Try formatting to general then erase your =
and type it in again.

Can you move them to another worksheet (maybe hidden).
Or maybe you could dedicate a column to the links and then just hide that

I have a line graph/chart and it gets its values using a formula and the values of another column. However this poses a problem because if there is nothing in the targetted column the formula returns 0 cause the line to drop to the bottom, instead of casuing the line to just end until a value is added to the target column.
