Printing Color-Coded Worksheet in Black & White Mode in Excel 2003I work with farily complex Excel worksheets which require print outs
as both hard copy and PDF. I normally keep the formatting as they are
and select [Black and White] in [Page Setup] [Sheet], as this
preserves the integrity of the financial model while printing out a
clean copy for the enduser.
However, this function basically converts everyting color-coded to
black & white, including cell shading patterns; I normally accentuate
certain important cells by shading them in black and using a white
font color. While I want the output to be black & white, I do want
to preserve this p...

Using bccI have sent an email some weeks ago and some of the addresses were in the
bcc field. I now want to send another email to the same people but when I
open the sent email in Outlook I can't see who I sent it to. I appreciate
that if I was the recipient I shouldn't see the names but as it was me that
sent the email I thought it would show who the email had gone to. Am I
wrong? If not how do I view the addresses?
Thanks

Problems creating a PDF file from a report using autoexec macroHi,
I am using the autoexec macro to run a report and print it out as a pdf
file. My steps in the autoexec macro are 1. OpenReport 2. Print Out 3.
RunCode 4. Quit. The RunCode is designed to delay the closing of the
application by two minutes so that the pdf file can be created. Whenever I
run this, I get a box that comes up and says "Print Macro Definitions"
Include for Macro _Properties _Actions and Arguments _Permissions by User and
Group. The application hangs on this without closing. Can someone tell me
what I am doing wrong? Is Print Out the right command?

Pocket PC - Money 2004Hello,
My hard-drive crashed on my computer and I had to install a new one. The
only workable backup file I have for my Microsoft Money is on my Pocket PC.
Is there a way for me to use the file on my Pocket PC on my new computer?
I tried http://money.mvps.org/faq/article/276.aspx and it's not working.
Maybe that tutorial was designed for a newer version of Microsoft Money?

The readme, which the article is based on, has been around for a while. In
any case, the data on your client will almost surely be incomplete.

Making a chart that uses a secondary Y axisHi, I'm having trouble creating a chart that has three types of data,
perhaps I'd better explain.
I'm trying to chart the progress of a project over time that's simple

the Y2 axis a bar chart that extends behind the lines for the
subprojects, can anyone tell me how I c...
button "use offline folder" missingHi,
in my outlook 2002 xp client the button "use offline folder" seems to be
gone. After some digging on the internet, one of the possible solutions
seemed to be to remove the terminal services (at least for office 2000).
After stopping them (can't find a way to remove them completely), still no

How do i get this button back? Is there any solution besides doing a
complete reinstall of my laptop? I need the offline storage folders since
I'm not always online, and still want to have maximum mail funcionality.

Remote Access or shared LAN access of Outlook without using Exchange Server ????
Currently I am accessing my desktop computer's installation of Outlook
through Remote Desktop, from my laptop. I can do this while on the same LAN
or remotely, through the internet.
This however is not really ideal, as I run my desktop at QXGA resolution and
my laptop has only a XGA screen. This means that when I get back home, all
the windows on my desktop are all messed up and really small.
What I would really like to do is be able to access remotely, in either one
of the ways you can do using Exchange Server.

the first No (open) and the first Yes (closed) records. How can I have it

how to modifiy Microsoft Query to read that value that's

How to use autofilter in excel with formula reference changingHi,

When I apply autofilter the formula in cell C keeps the original information

Using the "Enter" keyI've been using Money since...well forever, and do just basic tasks.
However, I just bought a new PC w/Money 2005 OEM installed. The one, and
most annoying, quirk for me is that in all previous versions you had the
option to use the "enter" key to move between fields in the transaction form.
Does anyone know if this has been disabled in 2005? Is there a way to get
this function back?
Thanks

Automatically selectings items in a list box using a listI have a form with a button that when the user selects an item from the list
box and then clicks the button, an update query runs to update the selected
item from the list box. I'm trying to write some code that will allow the

For example, right now I have:

Can sumif detect text strings or detect if a dollar sign $ is in a cell?Hi,
I copied my online bank statement into excel, and it's all in one
column. I want excel to only sum those cells which contain a dollar sign
and ignore the banks comment and date cells in the sum.
I tried =SUMIF(A1:A500,"$") AND ALSO =SUMIF(A1:A500,"$",A1:A500)
I just get 0 for the result.
Anyone know how to get sumif to match on a character like the dollar
sign? Seems like this would be an obvious and functional use for this
function eh?
Thanks!

Need to add cell comments in unlocked cell on protected worksheetUsing Excel 2002, I have a worksheet that I have "protected" so that only a
certain block of cells can be selected/edited. Today, I have a new
requirement to be able to add/edit/delete cell comments on those cells that
remain unlocked. But the options to do so on the cell context menu disappear
when the worksheet is protected, but reappear when the worksheet is
unprotected.
When you protect the worksheet, scroll down and check "edit objects".
This will allow comments to be added/removed/changed--along with other objects
(pictures/shapes/etc).
