Calculations #4

Hi,

when I am calculating my totals, my sum is more than what
is listed. How do I make the necessary changes to reflect
the correct sum.

Thanks,

Jessica

Thanks for such a quick reply. However, I needed to make
myself a little more clear as to the type of numbers that
I am working with. 1st I am not using dollars and cents,
I am merely doing a head count of individuals in 1's or
2's and then doing a sum total. Please add advise.

Thanks,
Jessica

Are all your 1's and 2's numbers?

Any chance that some are text (the cell was formatted as text before the data
entry)???

Copy an empty cell
select your range of 1's & 2's
copy|paste special|Check Addition.

This'll convert those text numbers to number numbers.

Calculated Field pivot Table Question
I have a pivot table that I would like to have a calculated field that fids the avereage by evaluating the the count of schools / total sales. the count of shools is created when placed in the data but my question is it possible to then use that data in a formula that is dynamic? I have used Count but it always returns 1 as I have discovered by looking at this board is the result you will always get. The same thing happens if a person on the troubled server sends to another on the same troubled server. 2. The person on the troubled server can send out the e-mail with no issues.
