Using Access and Jasper Reports
First, I would like to thank all of you who have shared your knowledge with
me over the past year. I have gone from not knowing the difference between an
update query and an append query to being an expert novice :)
Now for the question: I have a template in iReport (made by Jasper) that I
need to fill with data from an Access table. The more I look at it the more I
think this is way beyond my capability. My guess is it will require some type
of VBA. Anyone have any suggestions on how to do this? Sorry to be so

One of our users have found an error when he tried to setup notify user
alerts from a custom list whenever there are changes on the list items
included in a custom list view.
Exception occured. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80020009 (DIS_E_EXCEPTION))
Looking at the logs, we found the corresponding entry:

deleted off the server before I even see them.

There are methods using sheetchange events but the easiest method is to use
Chip Pearson's RowLiner add-in.
Just a note...........Rowliner won't work on protected sheets.
If your sheet is protected you need event code.

I am migrating from exchange 5.5 to exchange 2003 and consolidating
sites. For the users that have been moved cross administrative
groups I need to run exprofre.exe when they first logon to fix their
outlook profiles. This works fine for "fat" users but this doesn't
work for "thin" users who work through citrix.
If there is already one user working in outlook on the citrix server
the exprofre.exe utility will not run because outlook is open...

There is a fix you can get from Microsoft for this error. You should still be

I run a web site and have it set up with 3 different E-mail accounts. Each
account is forwarded to my ISP E-mail account. In Outlook Express I had a
rule set up that would check all incoing mail for "Send to" and use that
information to store each E-mail in a separate folder to keep everything
organized. If I replied to an E-mail then the default mail account was used
for my reply which was in my case my ISP account, but I always had the
option to change it to any of my 3 web host E-mail accounts.

We have a new GP 9.0 client who needs to track the use tax on purchases they
make out of state. They have to remit the use tax to the state of Florida.
We set up a new tax detail and schedule, but it isn't working as we'd hoped.
For instance, if we have a purchase of $100 to vendor ABC, we have to pay
the vendor $100 and we have to pay FL $7.00 (7% tax rate). So ideally we'd
like our purchases account to total $107, have Trade A/P show $100 to vendor
ABC and vendor FL to show a liability of $7.00. What is happening is that

My custom entities are join to system entities.
I wanted to migrate data using the DMF but I believe the data migration
framework doesn't deal with custom entity.
How can I migrate my data? Is it possible to change the DMF manually easily
so I can insert my data?
Can I use a dts package for these 3 additional tables?
Do I have to develop something with the sdk from scratch?

Which SmartList are you looking at? Bank Transfers go from one bank account
to another so they should use the cash accounts assigned to the Checkbook ID.
The cash account is a required field when you set up the checkbook.
What account is set on the Checkbook?

I have created a table where I run a query picking the columns I want in the
query. From the query, I create a report.
My question is this: Whenever I open the report, I want it to show only the
open items. Example: My query has 10 columns, when ALL the fields are
populated, the record is complete and does not need to be in the report (i.e.
open items report). If the 10 fields are NOT all completed, it's still
considered opened and will be on the report when it is run.
