...How do you apply a print area to an entire workbook
I want to apply a print range to multiple worksheets in the same workbook.
The data area in all the worksheets is the same & I'd like to know if there
is an easier way of applying rather than having to go into each worksheet.
You can use a macro like this to apply the same print area to all worksheets:
For Each ws In Worksheets
ws.PageSetup.printarea = "$A$1:$D$5"
To apply to a group you could use something like:
ws = 0
While ws < 2
ws = ws + 1
ActiveWorkbook.Sheets(ws).PageSetup.printarea = "$A$1:...Fresh OS and Office 07
I am upgrading my Windows Vista Home Premium to Windows 7 Professional
via one of Microsoft's Student Licencing sites, and unfortunately this
means I will have to do a fresh install instead of an "upgrade."
I have Office 07 currently installed on this computer, and on my
desktop (which is getting an upgrade to 7 as well, though not a fresh
install :]) and unless I am mistaken, I have no remaining installations
on my Office 07 disc.
Will I be able to reinstall Office 07 after this fresh install? Can I
back it up on my external hard drive to preserve it? Or am I SOL?
...Cant apply PMS colors to "wordart"
using publisher 2007
I know how to apply PMS colors to general text, shapes, strokes, etc... in
publisher and Im doing what seems to be the same way with some items that are
using "Wordart". I select the item, click Format Wordart, for Fill color, i
choose the PMS color that I have already defined in the document, then hit
ok. I then convert to PDF to view the seperations and everything separates
properly except for the Wordart items. What am I doing wrong?
Stick with RGB for those objects and fix it in the PDF. Publisher has
its limitations because of its inherent design....vacancy's for fresh\exp apply resume
...Applying the Year End Update
I noticed that the documention for the Year-End Update indicates that you can
apply the update prior to completing all of the payrolls for the year (but
you have to apply it before creating the Year-End Wage file). Can anyone
confirm that this is in fact true? Has anyone had any problems applying the
update in advance? I seem to recall in the past having to wait until all
payrolls were done for the year.
The update usually just deals with last-minute changes by the IRS, etc. for
changing the forms or computations in the yearly compliance reporting. It is

...Message Rules are getting added but not applied
I have recently switched to Outlook 2007 from Windows-Mail (WM). One of my
beefs is, adding/creating message rules seems much more complicated in
Outlook than in WM. For example, I don't understand things like "Stop
processing more rules" whose check-box gets automatically checked when I
check the "Permanently delete it" check-box. But the BIG problem I'm having
right now is that I'm creating rules okay (and can see they've been added
when I list them via Message Rules), but they're not getting applied some if
not all of the time - email...How to I apply a template to an exsisting Excel file

I just performed a fresh install of xp on an Acer Notebook 4000 (damaged
recovery partition). All seemed well until attempting to connect to the
internet. Error message says it cannot obtain TCP/IP settings. I've tried
disabling/enabling; uninstalling/reinstalling ethernet controller etc
w/devmgr to no avail. Anybody know how to overcome this annoyance?

Hoping one of you gurus can help tell me how to tell when my XP SP1
professional workstation will resume when I hibernate it.
I hibernate at night and by the morning it has resumed. I don't think it's
because of user intervention, anything on the modem or network so it must be
some application scheduling a task that causes the resume.
Is there any way I can check the operating system to see which task has
scheduled a timer interrupt and when it will fire. I am assuming that some
task has made a setwaitabletimer call but I can't see any way of finding out
who did it.

When we auto-apply aginst the invoices, can we restrict it only to invoices
from a purticular date. That means it has to ignore the out dated old
invoices or available balance of the cutomer.
I have just started using Outlook 2003 and created 2 profiles, one for home
and one for business. I don't seem to be able to use different stationary for
the two profiles. It always defaults to one stationary that is being applied
to both profiles.
I am also not able to use stationary when I forward a message. I was not
able to find any info on that.
Does anybody have an idea???

We have noticed the Labor Applied account setup for our Manufacturing labor
codes gets credited when labor data is collected. When is the offsetting
entry posted? Can someone please explain the entries to this account. I

The lack of good documentation is the reason we publish our books. This

...OWA Rejects Logins after applying SP1
I applied Exchange 2003 SP1 and the related hotfix over the weekend to
resolve a specific issue. It worked just fine, but now users cannot log
into OWA - the login credentials are rejected. Curiously, if the users log
into Remote Web Workplace (it's a SBS 2003) and select "Read my Company
