How to deserialize with several namespaces

Hello,
I'm trying to deserialize an RSS feed that can contains 2 namespaces.
FOr example, it can contain a tag <image> and/or <itunes:images>. I
couldn't figure out how to get both. This simplified extract of code
does not work:

[XmlRoot(ElementName = "rss")]
public class RSSFeed
{
[...]
    [XmlElement("image", typeof(Image))]
    public Image Picture = new Image();

    [XmlElement("image", typeof(Image),
Namespace="http://www.itunes.com/dtds/podcast-1.0.dtd")]
    public Image iPicture = new Image();

    public RSSFeed Load(Stream stream)
    {
        XmlSerializer serializer = new XmlSerializer(typeof(RSSFeed));
        return  (RSSFeed)serializer.Deserialize(new XmlTextReader(stream));
    }
}

I only get the content of <image>, never the content of <itunes:image>.

Any idea what to do?

Thank you

Either show us the XML you are trying to deserialize or try yourself to
use the xsd.exe tool from the .NET framework SDK, using that tool you
can infer a schema first and then infer .NET C# or VB.NET code. That
code can the be used with XmlSerializer or should at least show you
which XML serialization/deserialization attributes you need to apply.

Thank you. I attached the XML and the xsd files.

XML Deserialization Issue
Hello All, I am having some trouble deserializing some xml into a series of objects that are part of a web service proxy. I know the XML is valid, and the objects are up to date (the xml instance doc validates against the original scheme, which is current with the WSDL). The issue looks familiar, its identical to one that I have seen when the xmlserializer chokes on a namespace. In past instances with simple XML docs I was able to get things working by supplying the Deserialize method a default namespace, but in this case I have 3 namespaces, and no default. Severe Delays
Dear All, We are running a two node (active/passive) Exchange 2003 cluster on Windows 2003 Enterprise Edition SP1 (Revision 1) and Exchange 2003 SP2. Presently we are experiencing severe delays on undeliverable notications when we sent out emails globally within the organisation (there are approximately 3000 mailboxes.) For example a global email was sent regarding a major fault during the week commencing 15/01/07 - 19/01/07 yet the notification failures seem to come back at irregular intervals. The last being this afternoon when notications were returned due to two disabled account...

Several dates for a date picker
I was curious if it is possible to have a calendar control that allows a user to select several dates for one topic. I was thinking of some sort of Calendar control that would hold several values rather than just one. Sort of like a multivalued list box. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated please keep it simple I am still what I would consider a beginner compared to some of you. Thanks Josh You would just need several textboxes to hold the data. See Martin Greene's example at www.fontstuff.com and you should be able to modify it to fit what you need. -- Milton Purdy ...

How can I protect several sheets in a workbook simultaneously?
I don't want to protect the whole book with a password, but certain cells on each of the 52 pages in the book. I sometimes need to make changes to the sheets, so I need to unprotect them all and reprotect when the changes have been made. Is there a way of doing this across all the sheets rather than going into each one individually? Running on Excel 2003. You'll need to use a macro. Look here: http://groups-beta.google.com/group/microsoft.public.excel.programming/br owse_frm/thread/4edf513d54f2d1eb/35629d67a3037b99 This is a pretty frequently asked question - you can find the ab...

Deserializing problem
I'm trying to deserialize an xml file created in php. I created the class in .Net to hold the information and created a test object with data, ran it through serializing to a memory stream and deserialized it as well as reading it into a string to check the formatting. This worked fine. But when I tried deserializing the xml generated by the php file it throws an invalid xml exception. When I output the two streams for comparision they appear identical with the exception of carriage return-linefeeds plus some whitespace in between tags in the .net generated xml. Any ideas what I'm mis...
