In newsgroup postings, why do I see so many URLs with broken hyperlinks?
It seems to be one of those little know "secrets" . . .
Why is it that I find so many newsgroup postings with non-working
hyperlinks? - You know the one's - they are long enough to line-wrap only
the hyperlink doesn't "wrap" with them - so to speak. But then I see other
URLs that are very long and might even wrap more than one line yet they work
Who can tell me why? And more importantly, who can tell me what I must do to
ensure that my own hyperlinks are never broken in this manner?

I have a quite unusual request I think... :)
In one Excel document I have 1 main spreadsheet with contacts' detail
and several spreadsheets (one per week) each representing one week o
the year . Each week spreadsheet has got a timetable inside going fro
Monday/Month/Year to Sunday/Month/Year.
I have hyperlinked each contact in the main spreadsheet to this wee
Now my problem is that I would need this hyperlink to chang
automatically to the next week spreadsheet once next Monday starts.

Everytime I insert a new column into my Excel table the
hyperlinks which are linked to the cells don't change
automaticlly. Thus I've to change every following
hyperlink per hand.
Is there an option to relate hyperlinks to an other
reference point than the cells?

...MDI App will no longer open file by double clicking associated filetype
OK, I had an app which was originally based upon an MDI app. It has been
'modded' to add various functionalities with code from www.codeguru.com and

Flags can be set in the format "<Type Text>|*.ext.....|". e.g you can set
"MS Word Docs|*.doc|". Note that string ends with a '|' otw you'll see an
extra junk entry in the file type combo..

Around the first of the year, I archive my Money 2003 file and it
messed up my checking account to the point where I have to change the
starting balance when I reconcile. It seems that Money archived all
transactions older than 1/1/2005, regardless of whether they were

I suspect you will need to look at the TransferDatabase method of the DoCmd

I'm trying to get EXCEL to extract stock prices quoted in individual cells
as 52-week ranges --e.g. 11.76-19.90-- and do the following calculation:
(higher price - lower price)/lower price
Obviously, this a problem because each cell appears to handle the range as
text or something. Is there are way to get EXCEL to handle the "text" (or

AssetQuote. Inside I have on table called assetquotes.
