We have office 2007 professional installed, some users are getting the
following error when opening word 2007
Runtime Error code: 429, Active X component can't create object.
When I re-create windows profile it's works fine, Is any workaround for
this, or is any easy way to just re-create offcie 2007 profile ?

here is something that should be much simpler to accomplish but somehow
is very difficult to figure out.
Basically, for simplicity's sake, let's say I have a simple spreadsheet
shown in TABLE 1 below which has Mon-Fri in one column and dollar of
sales in the second column. But the catch is that each row is
separated by two blank rows. So say I would like to reference these
cells below but without skipping two rows and instead have it one after
another (Monday in first row, Tuesday in second, etc.) just like in
TABLE 2. Unfortunately, this is not possible by saying =A1 in the

I have a client that has a strange problem. She is using Outlook 2000 on an
XP Pro machine and regualry sends emails containing attached items.
If she creates a new email and then attaches the pic from there, it is saved
in her sent items no problem. However, if she browses to the actual picture,
thenright-clicks and selects "Send To"->Email recipient, the email will be
sent out to the recipient, but the email never winds up in her sent items. I
took a quick peek and discovered that everytime she sends an email with an

not seem to be able to delete them or post them and the batchIDs are also
blank (normally a reqd field)

If the Batch IDs are blank, can you then assign a dummy batch id then delete

I am trying to figure out how to write a formula where certain things are
mandatory and others are optional. Say I have cells A1, A2, A3, A4 and A5.
A5 is where I want the result that will either be "N" or "PRE".
I want a formula that says If EITHER A1 and A2 equal "N' or "PRE" and if
BOTH A3 and A4 equal "N" or "PRE", then A5 will equal "PRE", otherwise A5
will equal "N".
I assume there is a way to nest an if/and with an "if/or" but can't seem to
get it to work!

...Simple recovery database bloating?
I have a several hundred GB simple recovery dev database bloats by
200-300 GB and does not release the free space to the OS. Sometimes
drive runs out of space because of this. I had to shrink database
every few months to bring back database to its size and release the
space back to OS. Database has autogrow turned on. Question is what
can I do on a dailhy/weekly basis to prevent the database to grow that
big so that I do not run out of space on the drive? What makes this
grow and not release?

by using the worksheet weekday function. I used the custom format "dddd"
on that column to display the values as days (Sunday, Monday, ....)

I have a client running Office 97 on W98 using W2003 server, also running
other versions W2k, WXP, Office XP, Office 2k3 within the environment. They
have an issue with a couple of the W98 Off97 boxes (not all) randomly
creating files anything up to about 3Gb on the server when saving a
spreadsheet. The names are just 8 alphanumerics randomly. Once this has
happened on a pc only rebooting seems to get it back to normal and then not
every time. One file I have looked at after killing the process creating it
showed what looked like the valid excel data followed by absolutely nothing

Accessing email stored on Exchange 5.5. May open mailbox and view headers
from emails..upon opening these emails error message 'Can't open this item'
appears....no further information.
The error initially appeared on Outlook 2002, service packing 2002 to both
sp1 and sp2 did not fix the error. Installing and upgrading to Outlook 2003
has not fixed either.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have an Excel Sheet A with 3 columns. Col A=Site; Col B=Part; Col
C=Quantity. Rows of site and parts data are added daily and may contain the
