CRM Sales for Outlook and Zonelabs firewallDoes anybody know a workaround for using CRM SFO in
conjuction with Zonelabs Integrity Flex Client? My
company has recently deployed CRM and the Outlook addin
does not play nice with Zonelabs. SFO will display data
fine but when to try to add a record such as a contact,
activity, etc... the initial editing window will launch,
but when you apply the change the form will either clear
or return a blank IE window. When Zonelabs is shutdown it
works fine. Our goal is to not have to shutdown zonelabs
but tweak it so both can run on the systems. Any ideas???

CRM SFO, What Will Happen w/ This Contact Upon Syching?I have a user who is currently offline. He is entering/populating a CRM
contact from within Outlook -- The contact has a green icon and has a 'Open
CRM Contact Forrm' button upon opening the contact.
If the user populates the "Company" field for this contact (performed by
clicking and typing) from the all contact view and not upon double-clicking
the contact, what will happen if anything when he goes back online?
He's worried something may get overwritten or duplicated.

2001->2004 might be worth it. It will change the way scheduled bills are
handled and portrayed. Some don't like the change. Many of us got used to it
and prefer some (but not all ) of the new functionality that came with it.

CRM 4.0 attachments to campaignsAll,
Anyone know if its possible in 4.0 to add an attachment to a campaign
activity email so the end recipient gets it? Im pretty sure in 3.0 you could
do it, but I dont see it in 4.0.
After I make a campaign email, I look at the emails generated, and low and
behold, there's an attachment tab.
I dont know how to use the SDK to make a custom addin or anything like that,
and we cant purchase any add ins because they call cost too much for our
budget.

CRM Not Sending E-Mails...HELPLast week we changed the default listening port of CRM from 5555 to 80. Now,
for some reason, e-mails sent from CRM through Exchange is not going
anywhere. We can still use CRM, but only e-mails are not going thru, and no
errors are appearing in the Exchange event log.

SBS2003 Exchange mailbox store drive fullHi all,
Having problems due to lack of space on a customers D drive which runs out
of space and dismounts the mailbox store. I have deleted emails and cleared
space, which only creates a 100Mb or so. Presumably I now need to eseutil /d
but there isn't enough free space on D: drive to do this with the mailbox
store being around 20Gb.
There is an additional data drive installed, so if I dismount the store and
do a Eseutil /d /t "f:\temp.edb" will this do the defrag and then copy
back/reduce the size of the original file, or do I then need to delete and

to CRM in certain instances. I currently am unable to do this although I can
view, edit, and delete their emails. Is there a way to do this? If it is

MS CRM Workflow ManagerHi
I just isntalled MS CRM on the server, and created users, including an admin
user from the CRM Deployment Manager.
The problem i face is, whenever i try opening the Workflow manager, it gives
me authentication error saying I do not have sufficient privilage to run
workflow manager. Am i missing anything? I am logging in locally and through
terminal services to the server, same problem.

CRM 3.0 Outlook Client and Connecting to EXSRV messageCRM installation is working great. I have a few client machines with the CRM
Outlook client that seem to have an issue connecting to the exchange server
after CRM client was installed. The users are plagued with notifications of
retrieving data from exchange server. The clients have different Window
versions and different office version all complying with install
requirements. The only thing that I can find that they have in common is that
their inboxes contain 10s of thousands of messages in their mailbox inbox.

Upgrade 7.5 to 9.0 and PalettesI am in the process of planning an upgrade from 7.5 to 9.0 and found out that
Palettes went away in Version 8. Has this caused anybody any issues in
Security setup after the upgrade to 8 or 9 from 7*.
Actually palette security is no longer an issue in version 8 or 9. The
palettes are built at the time the user logs in. If they do not have
security to a paticular window it will not show up on the palette.
Not having palettes does take a little getting use to, but there are ways to
deal with that as well.

CRM 3 uses SQL Reporting Services, imo a superior product than Crystal.
In v3 you can use the advance find to construct queries. Its a much
more dynamic reporting tool. If you created your Crystal reports then
you should have no problems recreating them in SQL RS. If you dont
want to however i beleive there is a method of using your Crystal
repo...

I have the exact picklists in the account form
I made a workflow to create a new account from the custom entity, the
problem is that I can’t set the picklists values for the new account as
dynamic values from the custom entity. It works only with text fields.
Any idea how to make this happen?

You can use the custom workflow /plugin to update the related entity
with picklist value.
OR if you want to create the account manually from the custom entity
then use the mapping.

I would doubt it since some there were changes in some of the tables. I know
that some of our customized reports, specifically Purchase Orders and most of

Upgrade Question regarding Exchange 2000 to either 2003 or 2007.We have a windows 2000 server environment running a single Exchange 2000
Enterprise server. Doing some research and its obvious Microsoft prefers me
to jump to 2007, but I personaly think it would probably be wise to upgrade
to 2003 Exchange Enterprise server. Ill be introducing the server initally
and ideally just moving all the mailboxes to the new 2003 server.

Cannot install CRM...completelyWhile installing MS CRM server the installation gets about half-way through
when it asks for a Crystal Enterprise 9 CD. In a previous post it was stated
that the CD may be defective. We ordered a second set of CDs, and had the
same result. The installation is not on a DC, nor does the server have, or
have ever had Crystal reports on it. I have unsinstalled CRM, cleaned ther
registry of all traces of CRM and Crystal.
