We are installing Microsoft CRM, but the SQL Server that the database is
going on currently has a current database installed in a Instance.
is it possible to create a database in the default instance (required by CRM
to be a supported installation) after non default instances have been

Depending on what module you have brought, you should have been given a

How can I change security levels for atytachments in Outlook 2003?
I keep changing the security level in Outlook 2003 to Medium, Outlook keeps
changing it back to High. I posted a question concerning opening
a Word document from within Outlook on 12/13. I must have stumped
everyone 'cause no replied. So I found the only way is to create a Task

Is there any way to set it up so that I can pick and
choose which activities I want to share from one
contact/account. I have a list activities under one
contact, but I don't want to share them all. When I
select only one activity and go to actions/share - it
automatically adds the person/team to all activities.
This is a major problem.
...Office Deployment installs exact opposite
We have a strange issue with deploying Office 2007 through group policy. On
around 1 in 3 computers, when office deploys, it installs the exact opposite
of the programs specified in the config.xml file.
When you logon and run one of the wrong programs, it immediately
reconfigures and puts the right products on.
Although we are able to fix it, case by case, it's not great for our users
when they logon to find no Outlook etc!
A fix for this would be much appreciated
...Clean install of sql 2008 & user logins
Hello, we are running GP10 against sql server 2005 and would like to
go to sql server 2008. But rather then do an upgrade, we want to use
a new server and do a clean install of sql server 2008 on that server.
Then restore the sql 2005 backups onto the sql 2008 db. We'll restore
the company db and the Dynamics db. Is there any concerns doing
this? I was told we would lose the user logins. Is this correct, and
if so, how to keep all the logins?

Sounds like you need to use checkboxes, not option buttons.
If you want to select only one of several options, you use option buttons.
If you want to select one or more of several options, you use checkboxes

All my clients need data level security, any one know a product other than
Microsoft can provide such a service.
Its called MS-SQL. But, unless you know EXACTLY what you are doing, you can
get yourself in big trouble here. For example, blocking rights to the
financial tables for users will prevent posting at many levels. Now, for
reporting in third party packages like Crystal, you can establish a SQL role
and only provide Crystal users access to selected groups of tables. Since
these applications are only reading data....few problems here.

We have a 3rd party database that is weak when it comes to security.
In order to use a particular tool, users require access to custom db roles

We have published this tool through citrix.

I can give them seperate accounts with only select access to the views but
