Toubles with installing Security Groups for Active Directory

I have tried to run through the setup installation for CRM 3.0 on our Windows
2003 server, which hosts our Domain Controller. I am logged in as a Domain
Administrator. I get an error during the prerequite setup, explaining that
the security groups do not exist or have not be created. I thought that the
setup would create the security groups. I have tried everything and don't
know where I am going wrong. I have looked at article number 908984, and
have tried to create a new config_precreate.xml file to work off and have
even created the security groups at the root level of our active directory, I
still get an error during the initial pre-install setup. Does anyone have
any ideas.

Thanks,

Brian

Frx Install Files
Supposedly FRx is one of the modules that I own. However, I cannot find the install files for it anywhere on the two Dynamics installation CDs that I have. I am running Dynamics 8.0. Can someone tell me where to find the install files for FRx? Hi Depending on what module you have brought, you should have been given a separate FRX CD. You would need to contact your Var to supply you the FRX CD. Changing the Security Level
How can I change security levels for atytachments in Outlook 2003? I keep changing the security level in Outlook 2003 to Medium, Outlook keeps changing it back to High. I posted a question concerning opening a Word document from within Outlook on 12/13. I must have stumped everyone 'cause no replied. So I found the only way is to create a Task and insert an attachment which would be a Word document. Now Outlook won't al;low me to change the security to medium and it removes the Attachments. Office Deployment installs exact opposite
We have a strange issue with deploying Office 2007 through group policy. On around 1 in 3 computers, when office deploys, it installs the exact opposite of the programs specified in the config.xml file. When you logon and run one of the wrong programs, it immediately reconfigures and puts the right products on. Although we are able to fix it, case by case, it's not great for our users when they logon to find no Outlook etc! A fix for this would be much appreciated Steve ...

Clean install of sql 2008 & user logins
Hello, we are running GP10 against sql server 2005 and would like to go to sql server 2008. But rather then do an upgrade, we want to use a new server and do a clean install of sql server 2008 on that server. Then restore the sql 2005 backups onto the sql 2008 db. We'll restore the company db and the Dynamics db. Is there any concerns doing this? I was told we would lose the user logins. Is this correct, and if so, how to keep all the logins? Win XP Pro 64/32 install, same disc?
A friend recently built a computer for me and installed Win XP Pro 64-bit on it. I've been thinking about setting up a dual-boot to also have XP 32-bit, so I'm wondering if the 64-bit Pro disc might also be able to install the 32-bit version? Or do I need a separate install disc? I have a spare XP Home 32-bit I could use, but I'd love to make use of a Pro version. I've tried searching for more information on this, but I kept going around in circles and finding things that don't quite answer this. And I think I've read that Windows 7 (and Vista?) ins...

Sum of two groups
I have the following formula attempting to get some totals by aging category. =SUMPRODUCT(--(B2:B1096=T12),--(AA2:AA1096=U11),Q2:Q1096) T12 = a 2 digit code of text. I want to break that into two categories of greater than 540, and less than 540. Is that doable with a formula similar to the above? GP 8.0 New Install

Change installation user after install?
Is it possible to change the designation on the installation user after install without redeployment? Data Level Security
