Move mailboxes from exchange 5.5 to 2003
One of my clients are using NT4 with Outlook 98 against an external Exchange 5.5 They have no admin rights on the 5.5 server. They are now moving all users to XP with Outlook 2003 and an own Exchange 2003 (different domain) Is it possible to use some "move mailbox" wizard? How? or... Should every NT4/Outlook98/Ex5.5 user export their mail to a .pst file and then at their new XP/Outlook 2003/ import the .pst with Outlook into Exchange 2003? About 20-25 users. some emails not coming through since going to exchange, no details on why
Have a user that got 2 daily emails. One from a partner of ours that was an automatic email sent, with a status of things. Has an attachment that is a .docr The other is a daily list of canadian exchange rate. No attachments. He no longer recieves these emails and ht doesn't get any emails explaining why. Any idea's? Change ActualDurationMinutes of Service Activities
In CRM 3.0 we really want to start using the service activities. One thing I have seen though, is that no matter what you set the duration of the activity to, when you close the activity it only records 30 minutes as being spent on the activity. (This is the ActualDurationMinutes field in the ActivityPointerBase table). We are currently using this field to export our employee's time sheets and want to start using the service activities to track their time as well. Is there a way to change this default behavior? When the Plug and Play Service is started automatically at Windows start is no longer possible to use the taskbar, due at the cursor that becomes an hourglass, the bar is locked and the windows open are impossible to close. We've had a user report that meeting requests do not show up in the OWA calendar until you process the mail item (i.e. accept it). Exchange rate per transaction
Hello, I'm not shure if it's possible or nut (but I haven't found a way for this). I have many accounts in swiss francs (CHF) and one in Euro (EUR). When I enter transactions in the euro-account all is ok. But I think that in the reports, the value of the transactions i converted to CHF with the exchange rate set in the options. But that's not 100% correct because the exchange rate changes every day. Is it somehow possible to set the exchange rate per transaction? I use Money 2005. Is it possible in a newer version? Need help! Getting conflicting information about how to setup Exchange 2003 using SSL, to support OWA, mobile access and RPC over HTTPS. I have a FE/BE environment. Default Printer in GP changes in Terminal Services
We are running GP10 on a Terminal Server. Daily, as we log into GP10, we have to check/change the Printer in Print Setup to make sure it's the right default printer that matches the users Default Printer in their RDP session. The default printer in RDP doesn't change; only in GP10. We have four locations in four states and use named printers for the pick tick & pack list to print to the right SITE ID per the order. Changing Publisher Calendar
I have created a 2007 calendar using the 2003 version of Publisher. What I need is one continuous document with all 12 months, but what I have gotten instead is each month is on a tab at the bottom (like Excel does). Can I reformat this to make it one document, instead of being "chopped up" into 12 different documents? Or is there a way to create a 12 month calendar that is one continuous document? Outlook 2003 and Exchange 5.5 #6
All of my users use Outlook 2003 to connect to a Exchange 5.5 mail server. We utilize roaming profiles and .pst files. Each user has their own workstation, but we also have some common workstations that allow for scanning. If a user is logged in at their normal workstation with Outlook running and locks the computer, then proceeds to log in to the common workstation to scan a document and opens outlook to send it, would this create a problem? The error message is: "Sorry, we can't sync your calendar because the web calendar service isn't available right now. We'll sync your calendar as soon as the service becomes available again." The outlook connector will sync, but the Live Mail Desktop will not. Worked fine up till a few days ago. Error from CRM Deletion Service
I'm getting an Error 5895 in the Event Viewer from the MSCRMDeletionService service. The message is "Error: Can't clean up the following tables: Activity". I can't find any information on this error on the Knowledge Base, so I'm hoping someone has seen this error and knows how to correct it. Thanks There is a fix for this from Microsoft. Odd Exchange 5.5/OWA/Outlook 2003 issue FIX
When running bata Outlook 2003 to get mail from Exchange 5.5, Outlook somehow bungles up OWA. One does npt seem to have anyting to do with the other. OWA will work for a while, then you only get the splash page for a while, then you won't get the splash page. There is a patch for 5.5 that fixes it.
