Limiting CRM application ability to aasigning user to approprite CRM security group
IT administrator that I have for client does not like the idea of CRM
application assigning user group automatically. They prefer to do the
security group assignment manually.
Is this possible? What do I need to do to achieve that?
I did it the following way for a customer:
1) You will need to precreate the five groups within your AD. There is no
need of having a own OU (Container, Organizational Unit) for them. Follow the
naming convention of your company or use the default namings from Microsoft
for the five groups. There is no need for your AD Admin to assig...Can we customize CRm to fit our business model?

What are Microsoft plans to integrate CRM 3 with Navision and Axapta
I am not aware of any plans for this integration. I think that MSFT is
looking to the partner community to build this.
As far as integration goes we partnered with Microsoft to build an
Integration between Solomon and CRM. We did that because Microsoft
dropped dev efforts to integrate those 2 apps.
Somone from MSFT might want to chime in on this.

We've been experiencing extremely slow performance in CRM whenever one user
is trying to delete accounts or merge accounts. Not only does the deleting
and merging take a long time for the user trying to do those tasks; it makes
CRM nearly impossible to use for any other users during the time that CRM is
trying to delete or merge accounts.
Is there something wrong with the delete and merge code that it's locking up
the account table during these processes?
We have c360 installed. Could that product be complicating the existing
CRM delete and merge code?

Use conditional formatting in the cell. For example, with the date in A12,
Formula is =TODAY()+7>=$A$12
as the condition.
Then choose a pattern.

How do you create the 3 CRM databases if you are using a
full recovery backup plan? I cant find an example & I
want to make sure there isn't anything beyond
the "obvious". I know very little about SQL Server.
The CRM installation will automatically create the databases for you. The
recovery plan shouldnt have anything to do with this. Once their created, you
can verify the DB settings to make sure the recovery mode is set to Full, but
that should be all you need.
