price list issue
Is there a way to manually enter the Price Per Unit when adding a new Opportunity Product? There is no set price for the product we are dealing with. Picking the product from a list is no problem, I just don't want the prices to be a set number. Right now the PPU is filled in based on quantity and the price that is entered in the product list.

No.You cannot enter Amount for a rpoduct in the Opportunity stage but definitely during the Quote, Order stage, you can manually add the price for an existing or a new product. You'll have to get this customized if it is Important in your case.Is there a lot of analysis done for Opportunities(in terms of price rather than products) Cause at the Opportunity stage the total price would be more important for most Organization. I have a spreadsheet with multiple columns of numbers. Some of these numbers are repeated throughout the columns and rows. I want to run a routine that checks each number in turn, if the number has not already been found, then it puts it on a list on a different page. I have created an almost working data/validation/list in Excel 2003. I can see the note when I click on the cell, but it does not show me the arrow for the dropdown list. I have the "In-cell dropdown" box checked. Furthermore, it will not give me an error if something is typed incorrectly. Exchange 2003 POP3 service issue
We have Exch2003 running on a Win2003 server that was upgraded fro Server2000 The Exchange POP3 service will not start automatically at boot up an once the server is up the service shows as "disabled" even though I'v set it for automatic start and all dependant services are running. can go in and start it manually once the server is up. CRM Performance issue
Hello, I have a install of CRM 3.0 on a WIN2k3 box. SQL2K is located on a different WIN2K3 box. Both boxes are brand new dual procs. and plenty of resources. The problem we are having is that while working in CRM it works great but then after a few minutes randomly simply slows down and often takes 3 to 4 minutes to load a screen. but then jumps right back up and goes back to normal. Greetings... We're in the middle of a migration from Exchange 5.5. Several of the servers have already been migrated successfully. Now, here's the situation... follow me closely... There is a distribution list created in Active Directory (via the ADC connector I suspect) that multiple users can use to send FROM. One such user, who is on a 5.5 server, is able to perform this operation just fine. The messages are sent FROM the DL and TO other DL's in the directory. Public Folder Issue
I have an issue with my companies Public Folders on Outlook. First off we cannot afford Sharepoint at this time so don't tell me to buy it. We have about 100 public folders, all of them have different users and different attributes. There was a lady who helped develope all the folders who worked for us for 10 years. Is it possible to modify the Payables Edit List to inclue GL Summary Distributions totals? When a Payables batch is POSTED a report generates called "PM GL Distributions Summary" which lists the SUM of each GL account used in the batch regarless of the voucher. Guys, I cannot make sense of the "Price" field on the PO receiving screen! Only the "New Price" field seems to update the item price in the database. We have a client that wants to charge only for items over 500 units. Less than that would be subject to a minimum charge. We did a item for the minimum charge but when we did the price level with 0-500 units at zero cost and item 501-9999999 at $0.50. (It is similar to the income tax brackets) It charged for all 501 at .50 not just the one unit.
