Notification

Hi

We would like to set up CRM so that a notification is sent to a Manager if 
no one has created an activity in 24 hours. We are unsure if this is possible 
and we have attempted to do this through Workflow however we are unsure of 
the event that will trigger a workflow rule like this.

Is this possible? Can this possibly be achieved through using Client Side 
Code? Any ideas?

Hi Mark,

May be you need to write a custom SQL report and use the Microsoft CRM
3.0 Scheduler to run the reports daily. You can download the Scheduler
from Microsoft.

Hi Darren

Thanks for your reply. We would ideally prefer not to create a custom SQL 
report. Is there not an easier way to achieve this? I thought we could maybe 
set up a simple workflow rule.

Hi Darren

Thanks for your reply. We would ideally prefer not to create a custom SQL

Hi Mark,
I am afraid there will be no solution for your issue in workflow or client 
side scripting. You need to write some windows serivice using CRM SDK which 
runs after 24 hours and send alerts to Managers or you may have some kind of 
report for Managers.

is the probme that CRM users are not adding records correctly? I am 
wondering if your need for this solution is because of a larger issue?

I am using Outlook 2k/2k2 on my clients backed with Exchange 5.5 Std Edition. I am using resource scheduling to easily schedule rooms and equipments. Is there an add-in that will allow a pop-up notification for an IMAP account? Outlook 2007 Not that I know of. There are utilities that will check the acct and let know if there is new mail. Customize Notification
I was needing help with icons that show up on the taskbar in the lower right hand corner. I have several from various programs and would like to delete them from the taskbar but the only option seems to be "hide them when inactive" or "always hide". These are programs that I use from time to time, but I don't want them on my taskbar. Hi, I use Outlook 2003 with Windows XP. For some reason, all of a sudden 3 things seem to be missing from my inbox screen. 1. is that i have multiple email accounts and when i would be compsoing an email account it would tell me which account i was to be using. Immediate alert notification, but long delay before message appear
Outlook 2007, Win 7-64. My "new message alerts" pop up, with full email message title, etc as designed. However, if often takes 40 seconds to 120 seconds until the message actually appears in the inbox. Windows repaint notification from another thread
Is there a way to tell a CWnd to repaint from another thread? I have a seperate thread that is handling processing of data and then I want the CWnd to repaint when it reaches a certain point. Hi We are using Outlook 2003 and Exchange 2003. I have a strange problem. A user setup an event in his calender and adds an attendee for User B. When User B accepts the event, User A gets the report and at same time User C gets the response as well. I have gone through all his outlook folder's permission and make sure User C is not in there. Has anyone ever had an issue where out of no where Outlook no longer notifies when new arrives and doesn't sync with the palm pilot either? I want to develop a software that need to know the notification when a windows PC in the LAN is powering on, I don't want this software to do polling, I want this software can get the notification from the powering on PC. Office Notifications no longer work
Sometime in the last month, my Office notifications have stopped working. The Microsoft Office Notifications application is running and I have made sure that it launches at startup, but that hasn't helped the problem. I have repaired permissions since this problem began and have run both Norton Disk Doctor and Alsoft DiskWarrior as part of my regular routine, not specifically for this problem.
