Can anyone tell me how recurring appointments that fall within the beginning
and ending windows of the new DST will respond once Exchange/Outlook have
been patched? I somehow got tasked to explaining this to our user group...
My understanding is that recurring appointments that were originally set up
within one of the windows will show a 1 hour difference from expected during
the windows. For example, in 2006 I created a recurring appointment on
March 8, with the time being set to 2:00 Central. My expectation is that
during the start window, this appointment will show 3:00 Cent...Chosen not to update links but they are updated anyway. How stop?
Using Excel 2003 but linked to spreadsheets created in 2000. When asked if I
wanted to update links, I said 'no' because I wanted to take figures and
break links to some linked spreadsheets. But then spreadsheet appears to
update anyway, replacing figures I can see (and want) and giving me 'Value'
There's a section in Tool-Options-Edit that allows for universal
updating of links ("Ask to update automatic links). If this is
unchecked, that's probably why.
My users cannot update meetings created when they were on
the old email server. I have noticed that the old string
is still mapped to the meeting. e.g
x400;c=us;a= ;p=Org name;o=exchagne;s=Lastname;g=firstname;
The Org name is the Old org still is there a way to force
update to the new org?
...Can an update query be used to update/produce a query?
I'd like to use an update query in a chain of nested queries. Is this
possible? In this case the update query will not be updating a table, it
will be changing certain values from the preceding query before proceeding
with the next query in the chain.
My particular need is to substitute a dummy value (-9999) for all null
values in a final table which my query chain makes (the final query in the
chain is a make-table query which produces the table). I have to make this
substitution to several columns of the final table before exporting the table
for use in some other software. I...Any issues with Exchange Server in BDC after migration?
I want to migrate NT4 domain to AD2003 domain. Using ADMT 2.0, I should be able migrate user and computer accounts easily. However, my main concern is our Exchange Server 5.5, which is acting as part of a larger Exchange Organization. I am unable to use Exchange Directory Migration Wizard in ADMT 2.0, as it kept telling me my credentials are wrong or no permission, even though I entered an account with Permission Rights. The Exchange mailboxes are still authenticated against the NT4 domain. However, I migrated a test user and machine account account. I could still access the mailbox ...PLEASE UPDATE PHOTODRAW!!!!!!!!
This program is so cool - why did it not get an update in 2003? Please don't
tell me it's been shelved. It's a great and cheap alternative to Photoshop.

So I'm at the point where I need to install 926666 (all server OS and
clients are patched). My question relates to a posting on the MSExchange
team site that says in order to avoid issues with 926666 that the store
version should be atleast 7650.23. I have E2K3 with SP2 installed and my
store version is only 7638.2. Any idea what will get my store level up?

I have installed the OS Patch, Exchange Patch and I'm running the tool.
Are the appointments from Mar 12 - Apr 4, and the last week in Oct. supposed
to be off by an hour, or am I missing something?
I did the same thing. Patched the OS, Patched Exchange 2003sp2 and then ran
the tool. The tool did not correct the time appointments displayed from Mar
12 - April 4. In fact, in some cases it moved appointments that were already
displaying correctly and left the incorrectly displayed appointments alone.

I have two combos.
When the first combo is changed from "pending" to "live" I want the second
combo to become enabled.
I have the following in the after update event.
If Me.StatusID.Value = "Live" Then Me.MonthID.Enabled = True
but it isnt working.
It has been awhile...
You also have to requery the second combo
If Me.StatusID.Value = "Live" Then
Me.MonthID.Enabled = True

User is reporting problem when reserving the conference room via Outlook has a Problem. The problem user is reporting is she can see conference rooms that are open and they let her go through the process or reserving one but then user gets an email back in a few minutes saying user was declined and could not reserve the room. I feel there is a problem with the conference rooms not showing correct scheduling. How can I fix this scheduling problem?

We have Exchange 2000 running on Windows 2000 Server. It looks like
Microsoft is not going to release publicly the DST patches for either of
these. My questions are these:
1. For the OS, we just have to manually run the Time Zone Editor
(Tzedit.exe tool) to update the OS? If we use the East coast of the US (New
York), we just have to update the Eastern Time, right? Not the Pacifix Time,
2. For our Exchange 2000, is the Exchange patch and the CDO update the same
thing? If ...KB951847 update failures for .NET Framework Family Ver 2

I guess I have two questions. First of all, I'm new to money and I went ahead
and hooked up my checking account to it and it seemed to work fine (in
essential mode). But then after reading some, I decided to change my account
to "Advanced" because I wanted to be able to split up transactions to fit my
budget categories. Now I can't figure out how to get it to connect (do I have
to start all over?) And also, do I have to use "Advanced" account register to
categorize transactions and be able to split the transaction up?

We are getting ready to do the DST patch on the Exchange servers. I was
wondering if there will be any problems if some of our users have jumped the
gun and installed the desktop patch themselves already? Will the Exhcange
patch be able to tell whcih mailboxes have already been patched by the users?
I don't want to adjust the time twice.

In Outlook when sending any emails, we have an option of selecting "Request
a delivery receipt for this message" and "Request a read receipt for this
When "Request a delivery receipt for this message" option is checked , we
are able to view the tracking status tab for that email in Sent

we are unable to view tracking status tab in the sent items.
Will Tracking status works only when you select for "delivery receipt"?

legwork and decisions before you even perform the first patching. You
