CRM 3.0, OWA and ActiveSync Issues
I have taken over the support of server that is SB2003 with MS CRM 3.0 installed. When I try to access OWA from either outside or inside, I get page can not be found. CRM seems to work fine. I am not familiar with CRM at all. I looked in IIS Manager and see that CRM 3.0 is the default website (default web site naming has been replaced with CRM 3.0). I see the Exchange and EXCHWEB, etc under the CRM 3.0 top level site. What do I need to look for? I am at a loss. TIA! Clay

The default (and typical) CRM installation has the CRM website running only over port 5555. This means that even as a default website, it can only be reached by specifying :5555 after the url. This allows the same url to be used for other things. If you have having page not found problems reaching another application over TCP/IP, it is probably because the DNS server on the CRM server doesn't have a record on how to resolve the url you are using into an IP address. Can you reach OWA using an IP address?

Looking at the IIS configuration it is set for port 80 and port 442 for SSL Evening using the IP address, the exchange/owa sites are not displaying. Then whoever installed CRM before you screwed it up. CRM is purposely set by Microsoft to run off of port 5555 so that if it is installed with other Microsoft Dynamics products, the other products can run from the same URL (I imagine each product is given a different port). The same thing applies if you tried to run something else off of the same URL such as exchange. You may want to consider disabling the default.aspx in the CRM website by renaming it to default.pass. Then, you can still invoke CRM by calling: http://servername/loader.aspx But, this way at least it won't automatically keep starting up whenever you use that URL. Port 5555 is an unusual configuration to see when you first install CRM, and you are tempted to remove it because it seems to be an awkward construct for non-technical users. Hi, I am trying to run the Account Overview report (open an Account, run the report from there). It chugs over it for a second or two, then I get the following 2 errors: Error: subreport could not be shown. Note: The maximum number of accounts in this report cannot exceed 10. I have an emailing program that uses a Rich_text_box as a body. Now with rich_text_box you can have bold, multi color underlined.etc TEXT. Since using HTML body is a bad (not recommended, even thought it would keep all the formatting) thing then what else can I use to have the same type of format as an rich_text or html so when the recipient receives, it looks presentable with all it indenting, bold,.etc???? Access Form Printing issue
Hi Guys, I have an issue wiht ACCESS Form printing. One Form with Pivot table with 50+ pages, when I do a print preview, It shows me 50+ pages, but after 36th page, all following pages are empty. How do I track emails ONLY using tokens in CRM 4.0?
The pattern matching or "intelligent" matching of email content is misapplying inbound emails to non-related cases. I want to turn this feature OFF ASAP and return to ONLY tracking through tokens in the subject line. I can turn OFF tokens but not the smart matching. A configuration option would have been nice. They would like to have the ability to map all of their current clients in certain areas, also with the ability to make indication of future growth in these same areas. After CRM installation and valid internet connection via LAN, I could not succeed to register CRM 3.0. Is there anybody who had this problem before and solve it?? Existing messages not showing up in OWA
Hi all, I'm new to Exchange administration. I recently setup Exchange 2003 and everything seems to be working well except for the following behavior: Users who read their mail using Outlook 2003 on the LAN can no longer see those messages in OWA. Is there an equivilant setting for exchange mailboxes to "Leave a copy on the server" or something like that? That option only seems to be available for POP accounts. Migrating CRM to CRM
We had to delete the OU from the Active Directy, and now cannot get to our data. Reading through the posts it looks as though we have to use the DMF to convert our data because of the GUIDs that are hard-coded in the files. Unless someone knows of a utility that I can use to change the GUIDs in the Active Directory - but we tried a number of different things. So, is there an easy method to import CRM data into CRM? If the message in the inbox, the external user can open it and save the attachments with no problem.
