interesting way to schedule MS Access jobs

Hi everyone,

I ran across some neat software to schedule MS Access database tasks
to run any time of the day. Also, it doesn't rely on Windows
Scheduled Tasks, so that is good. It uses it's own scheduling engine,
check it out: http://macros.subpacket.com

Cheers,

Chris

Hi Chris

The standard guarantee is something like this

We're so confident that macro scheduler will save you time and money by
running tedious macro tasks late at night that if you are having any problems
whatsoever, we will REFUND YOUR MONEY

Instead this programme gives this
We're so confident that macro scheduler will save you time and money by
running tedious macro tasks late at night that if you are having any problems
whatsoever, we will PERSONALLY HELP YOU OUT OVER THE PHONE

What does that mean. If it doesn’t work ???

Can't where they get that windows scheduler is a security risk - I use it on
many DB's. It will turn on access - run whatever - then turn off access (at
anytime of day or night - as the server is always on, like in most companies)

Not saying not to get your suggestion but not convinced at the moment.
Windows already gives everything this does – and it’s (sort of) free.

And your email address above is on
http://macros.subpacket.com/about.htm. That makes your statement "I
ran across some neat software" false.

Hi Tony

Don't worry the internet is great for letting everyone know if you have
something to sell.

I personally have some cakes that I don't really like so I will be posting a
new website regarding these and offering them for sale. Not really sure if
there is that much of a market for second hand cakes though. Worth a try.

Looking for a forum concerning cakes (and how long they last) to post this
too.

Basic way to make basic databases work on Access2007?

Hi All, I am about to try out the MS CRM CDF tool and am looking at loading about 829,626 records into the contact & lead tables -> not sure what the exact split will be yet and about 256,787 records into the company table.
