How to Change RadioButton Text in InitialUpdate ?
Just trying to change the text of a radio button at run time, using the
CButton* pRadioBtn = (CButton*)GetDlgItem( idc_Info1 );
pRadioBtn->SetWindowText( "New Text" );
Works fine if triggered by something (such as a button press), but
doesn't appear to take effect when just placed in "OnInitialUpdate",
just ignores it.
How would I get it to trigger in the OnInitialUpdate section ?
(or is there different code I should be using ?)

I am opening a form "Add New Job", which on load, sets its DataEntry
attribute to true. If I enter no details & close the form, a record
had been created, so I added code to delete the record if no details
had been entered. Now when I close the form without entering any
details, it deletes the current record it has just created, but
creates another one with the next sequence number.
What I want it to do is create no record if no details are added. How
can I achieve this?
Are you sure it's deleting the record you just created?

TRUE is a special value in Excel. To enter True, precede the text
with an apostrophe.

I'm in the process of developing a project and have a main menu form with
various controls, text boxes, tabs, etc (the usual stuff)

all of the other controls work, just not the text...
- the boxes are enabled and allow edits...

problem i have is in one of the reports I have the staff have used one cell
to try and put 2 entries in with a slash in between. Say this is a target

This is for that telnet application rewrite I am doing. The
re-write is going well.
My question pertains to drawing (large) text on a form background.
Think of the background of an MDI parent that is shown as the
'ButtonFace' color before any MDI children forms are opened. (That is
similar to how it works.) On that background I'd like to show the company
name and have it appear that it is just 'embossed' into the background.
I don't want to use a graphic, as the color shown is a system color that
users can change, so this would not work.

I have publisher 2000. I can't seem to get the text to entirely fill the
text box. There's always a large unfilled space at the bottom. Margins
under text frame properties are all set to zero. Whether I manually fit the
text or use Autofit, there is an unfilled inch or so at the bottom when I
print. Top and sides are fine. Any suggestions?

The simplest way is to select the chart and the just type some text.
A textbox will be created that is embedded inside the chart instead of
just over it, like it would appear you currently have.

I've created a query, but when I run the query Access replaces the

I know I can use the REPLACE function to get to "2*5" by replacing the
letter with the asterisk.
At this point the 2*5 is a text string.
