I write a program using vc,and it must link a database of access2000
I install the program to a PC with win98 and without vc and office2000,and
it doesn't run.
I only install the data access component from vc installing disk,and then it
can run.I want to know how to get the data access component separating from
(Someone tell me to download MDAC2.7,I download and set up,but my program
cannot run.But even if the MDAC2.7 can support my program,I have a question:

Have made an x-y scatter chart with temperature on the y axis and time
on the x axis.The data was imported and the temperature is in
centigrade.How can I convert the data into degrees fahrenheit? The
temperature data is in column B and contained in over 400 cells The
only way I know how to do this is manually converting each cell but
this will take forever.Can anyone show me how to convert the entire
column with a formula perhaps?

I try to export my project data to Excel to further analyze it. However,
when I export work needed to fullfill my assignments I receive (in Excel)
texts such as "4.5 hours". It is not easy to analyze such data - I can't sum
it, I can't do calculations with it. Of course, I can trim that extra text
from that column in Excel using formulas, but that is uncomfortable. Can I
set some option in MS Project so it exports number columns as numbers?

Yes but you need to cheat!
Make chart in normal way. Now select the range of cells with the y-values
and use Copy command; click on chart and use Paste. Now you have two
identical series. Right click on the new data series in the chart; from
popup menu use Format Data Series; on Axis tab specify Secondary Axis and on
Pattern tab specify No makers and NO line (make second series invisible)

I have a multithreaded MFC app in which a worker thread is producing
some data (images, graphs, log messages) and sending them over to the
GUI thread. This is done via CWnd::PostMessage(), passing pointer to the
data as the parameter. The GUI thread displays the images/graphs and
appends messages to the end of log pane as they are coming in.
Everything is fine unless the worker thread produces data too quickly.
In this case the GUI thread mostly sits in the message handler and the
display appears quite irresponsive.
Lowering worker thread priority solves the problem, but this means

I have a line chart with three series over time. One series represents
actual values. For future dates, I made a formula return "#N/A" so
that they won't be plotted.
For one of the other lines, I would like to do something similar for
*past* dates up to March 2008. When I change the source data to start
at the March 2008 value, of course this skews the graph and puts the
March 2008 value where the graph starts, at November 2007. I can't do
the #N/A trick, since other data depends on these values.

and Surname. As a result of recent data import, many companies have ended up
with duplicate contacts, so for instance Company_ID 109 will have multiple
