setting font size to decimal number
In the CFontDialog I am not able to set up decimal numbers, like 7.5.
It works in MS Word (on the same box, the same font).
Getting message "Size must be a number."

Just a thought: Do you have the correct settings in the regional setting?
Just check if there is jused a ',' as decimal char.

Does anybody have any smart ideas for getting a nicely formatted order form
directly from RMS? I want to be able to give staff a page with the list of
items from a supplier, with sell price, MPQ, and barcode and the reorder
number, and a space where they fill in the quantity required. If it looked
something like a PO printout, with lines under each item to make it easy to
use it would be ideal!

I've procrastinated long enough; I'm starting to learn Access now. I know a
little actually, but not much. Anyway, I'm practicing with the NWind DB. I
exported each table to an Excel sheet and then tried to import each Excel
sheet to a new DB that I just created. A bit silly, but it's really helping
me to learn. I though I had a handle on it, but when I tried to import the
'Orders' table, it comes in kind of weird. Under Field Name 'OrderID', the
Data Type is Number, but I want it to be AutoNumber so I can create

i have mail that keeps going into my spam box and i can not figure out how to

Is it going to the Junk E-mail folder or to a Spam folder?
In case of the last, Outlook is not doing this but a 3rd party mail scanning
tool that you have installed.
If it is put there by the Outlook Junk E-mail filter, you can manage your

Can i set up an excel file to open automatically on pc start up?
The easiest is to use the Startup folder available in the Start Menu. To
access it go to Start - Programs - Startup. You can delete or add tasks here

I've written a piece of code to get a list of the processes currently
running on my computer.

Have a random problem at the moment. Taken over a customer with a rouge
router that keeps dishing out oddball dns entries every 30minutes via DHCP.
I believe it's relaying from some old source. Until we track the problem
down, what is the best way to set some DNS settings that wont change, IE set
them manually via GPO.
Disable the router DHCP server and use a domain member server for DHCP or
if only a DC exist use that one. Let the router do its baisc job, routing.

When go to format tab setting, the default is always .5.
I want to use .3, but when I set it to .3 (I think I am setting
the default), it always reverts back to .5. What am I doing
wrong? I want to stay put! This is particular aggravating in a

What version Publisher?
First of all, long documents are best done in Word. You don't have to contend
with text boxes. That said, the default tab setting is in the Format menu, tabs.

I am running W2k with Ex2000 Entp. My mail box store is 24GBish. I have
many users that have mail boxes over 500MB and a few that have them in the
Gig range. I want to look into setting a policy that will "autoarchive" to a
pst on their home drive to help reduce the size of the store.
Questions 1 - What are the advantages/disadvanages of having a smaller store
(besides quicker backup's and possible restores). Does it not really matter
if the indivudal mail boxes get over 1Gig?

I was wondering if it was possible to syncronize a textbox on a form to the
record selector on the bottom of the form. I want the user to enter the
current record number in the textbox. However, I want to syncronize it
because at times, records are deleted so I want to make sure that if the
current record number is inputted in the textbox as records get deleted, that
number in the textbox will stay with that record number in the record
selector on the bottom of the form.

and I believe using "EFT" will do this. This service allows me to generate a
file to transmit to our bank and they either issue an ACH transaction or
print a check and mail it for us.
The transaction file needs to have the same informaiton as our current check
